MyUltrasoundTutor is happy to offer three unique ultrasound tutoring options:

1. The registry review course allows you to learn at your own pace and at a time that is convenient for you. This is a great option if you need to take your registry exams by a certain date since you can begin the course right away. These video courses are easy to access and help move you along, so you reach your testing goals in a reasonable amount of time.
2. One-on-one live tutoring may be available for some subjects. There is usually a waitlist, so if you are interested in this type of tutoring, make sure you are prepared to wait up to several months for a tutor to become available. However, in the meantime, online courses can give you a great foundation and get you started.
3. Test practice is an excellent way to get some training and see where you may need more help. This is particularly true if you are not sure where to begin or have some time before starting with your tutor for live sessions. Our practice test bundles can give you the extra mental exercise you need before an exam, or they can get you started while determining which tutoring option is best for you.

All of our tutoring options are created and executed by the same team. Our teaching quality, ultrasound information, and the tools used are consistent no matter which option you choose.

When you purchase a registry review course, you will receive access to videos, study materials, and exams. Here is how it works:

1. Videos: Each video will cover a given topic. Practice questions will be covered in the video to help with test-taking.
2. Quizzes: After each video, you will be given a quiz. The questions will be about the material recently explained in the preceding video or videos. You must achieve a particular score on this quiz to complete the lesson and be allowed to watch the next video in the series.
3. Exams: After completing a unit by watching all the videos in that module and passing the exams, you will be given a longer exam. Scoring above the required percentage on this test will move you along to the next module.
4. Final exam: After successfully completing all modules, you will be given a final exam – a mock exam of the registry test you are looking to take.

All courses have a 6-month time limit, which begins at the time of purchase. The reason for this is because we find that the best results are had by students who complete the course in 2-3 months. This encourages structure and discipline in the study schedule. We allot 6 months because we understand not every student can complete the course at the same speed.

You will be able to extend the time you have to access the course in monthly increments for an additional fee. Should you be unable to complete a registry review course due to emergency circumstances, this will be taken into consideration. These emergency situations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

For those who complete the review course and pass the included exams with an average score of 80% or above, we do offer a pass guarantee. In this case, you will be able to retake the course again at no charge in the rare case that you should fail your registry exam.

At MyUltrasoundTutor you will have our support no matter which tutoring option you choose. Anytime you need extra help, you can reach out to our team. A private one-on-one tutoring session can be scheduled if you need extra help at any time during your course. Current hourly rates will apply.

Our team is constantly researching and regularly updating the information we provide through our programs. One of the best resources we have is you, the client. We always ask for feedback regarding your test experience and use this to help future students. So you benefit from the experience of all of our past clients. Another valuable resource is ARDMS.org. This site contains detailed outlines for all current exams, which we use to ensure each topic is thoroughly covered. The result is a streamlined tutoring experience where you will learn the information you need for the exams.

One benefit of our program is having the convenience of an ultrasound tutor anywhere you may be. Much like videoconferencing, we use a program for live chat with video, which includes a whiteboard. This means we can see you, and you can see and talk to us as if we were in the same room. The added feature of a whiteboard allows for images, diagrams, and drawings to be shown during a tutoring session. This makes the session more visual and interactive.

WebEx is a free program that incorporates live video chat with other features that make online tutoring easy. Signing up for a WebEx account is free. For smartphone and tablet users, there is a free app that functions as if you were on a laptop or desktop. To be sure that you have no problem with the first meeting, our tutors will be on standby a few minutes early to walk you through the process or help you with any snags you encounter.

Sessions cost ranges from $40-50/hour depending on specialty. Each client will receive all study materials, tests, and quizzes, plus a mock exam  (taken at the end of the course) all of which are included in the hourly rate.

There is no minimum or maximum requirement. Progress is largely dependent on each individual client. We do our best to ensure each client has a thorough understanding of the information covered before moving on to the next lesson. However, adequate study time and preparation on the part of the client will help move the sessions along at a quicker pace. Many can complete the course within 15 sessions (give or take).

The day of your scheduled meeting time, you will receive a PayPal invoice. You can pay with a credit card or through your PayPal account (if you have one). Setting up an account is not necessary to pay for your tutoring. Payment is due prior to the appointment.
