Now Is the Time to Prepare for the SPI Exam.
This time of year, people start to reassess their priorities and set goals for themselves. Taking the SPI exam is a great goal for an ultrasound tech. Setting goals is beneficial for a number of reasons.
- Goals motivate you.
- Setting reasonable and achievable goals helps you keep track of your progress.
When preparing for the SPI, setting goals is of particular importance. Have a test date in mind and write it down.
How can you successfully reach your goal of passing by that target date? Make sure you set daily goals for yourself.
- Make time each day to study.
- Aim for an hour a day – even if you need to break it up into 15-minute increments.
Focus on your test taking skills. There are apps and testing sites that have free questions and exams. Brushing up on these skills is a good way to boost your preparedness.
Remember, many resolutions fizzle as the weeks and months progress. Stick to those that are the most important like attaining your ARDMS certification.
